Farming remains an important way of life in Bruce Mines and area. You can drive and view the following farms, but if you wish to visit, you must call ahead. As you drive along the country dirt roads you will pass many Mennonite Farms that you can observe as you pass by and many do sell their farm products or
furniture.

Farm gate is open from June - October: Mon - Thursday (10-5:30).
Johnson Township Farmers Market in Desbarats is open Saturdays June to Labour Day (9-1) and September to Thanksgiving (10-1).
For bigger orders please call ahead. The CSA can cater to the needs of commercial accounts (restaurants and retailers).

Algoma Farm Fresh products can be purchased at the Algoma Farmers' Market - open Wednesday and Saturday.
On Saturdays, Jack's steaks can be purchased freshly cut. But be sure to arrive early, as they sell out quickly!
